Own The Color

Today, 34 percent of all cars in North America are white. After that comes black with 22 percent, silver with 14 percent, and gray with 10 percent. No other color cracks double-digits. But in the world of luxury vehicles and supercars the name of the game isn’t color, it’s exclusivity.

That’s why we partnered with NFT artist, Xsullo, to create and sell an NFT authenticating ownership of a one-of-a-kind, proprietary color from Chevrolet. The NFT was accompanied by a physical asset – a Corvette Z06 in that proprietary color. GM agreed to never use that paint color again.

This marked General Motor’s first work in the Web3 space.

We placed the NFT on SuperRare, the digital art market on Ethereum, and used our social channels to drive buyers to the site to place their bids.

During NFT NYC, then the largest NFT conference in North America, we debuted our one-of-one piece and hosted an event with influencers and curators in the web3 space.
